COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (CBS19 SPORTS) — A journey a lifetime in the making.
On Sunday, Miller baseball coach Billy Wagner was officially inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
“What a humbling moment in front of my heroes on the ultimate stage,” Wagner said in front of the crowd in Cooperstown Sunday afternoon.
Wagner was selected into the Class of 2025 earlier this year in his final year of eligibility, earning 82 percent of the votes, seven percentage points above the necessary 75 percent to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
