Virginia All-American wide receiver Herman Moore, who starred under George Welsh during the Cavaliers’ rise to a No. 1 national ranking in 1990, has been named to the College Football Hall of Fame ballot for 2025.
Voting is conducted by the National Football Foundation and includes nominations of 77 players and nine coaches from the FBS level. The Hall requires a candidate being a First-Team All-American, which shrinks the pool to approximately 1,500 out of more than 5.7 million who have played college football.
