Baseball star David Wright will lead the Hampton Roads Sports Hall of Fame class of 2002, which will be inducted Nov. 20 in a banquet at Norfolk Scope. In addition to Wright, a Hickory High graduate who is one of the New York Mets’ all-time greats, the class includes former Norfolk State basketball standout Vivian Greene, longtime WVEC-TV sportscaster Scott Cash, former Hampton University president William Harvey, retired Old Dominion sports information director Carol Hudson and former wrestling promoter and coach Frank Lipoli.
