2024, Year-End Giving Campaign
As we enter the “year-end” giving season, there are many nonprofit organizations worthy of support that are addressing significant societal issues. Our challenge here at the Hall of Fame is that within the nonprofit world we are viewed by many as strictly a “sports recognition” organization. Those who have followed our evolution over the past seven years know that we have become much more than that.
We are a Hall of Fame because of our over 360 Inductees, and we will continue to be a champion for athletic excellence in Virginia. We also want to use our standing as the Official Sports Hall of Fame in Virginia to provide community focused initiatives through sports that support education, health and wellness, and access and opportunity. While we honor the best of the best, we want to make sure young athletes have every opportunity to be their best. Often, sports can provide that foundation.
Our ask to you is to help us as we aim to raise $50,000.00 to support our current efforts, and future growth for the Hall of Fame.
Your support will allow us to continue ALL that the Hall of Fame has created in the past few years:
- Exhibit additions and development
- Additional engaging HOF events with inductees
- Scholarship awards to Virginia high school student-athletes
- Increased advocacy and outreach for our Youth Sports Mental Health & Wellness Alliance.
- And much more!
We don’t make this ask lightly, but it is necessary to secure our future. Financial contributions through a tax deductible year-end donation, an annual Insider membership, or event sponsorship like our 2025 Induction Weekend, allow us to continue our mission and honor our core values, Recognition, Impact, and Integrity. We take immense pride in the work we have done and hope we can continue creating a Hall of Fame platform that is unique to Virginia. Help us celebrate ALL that is good about sports in Virginia.
