As Tony Bennett Closes in on UVA Wins Record, the Hollands Couldn’t Be Happier

Terry Holland, from 1974 to 1990, set the standard for University of Virginia men’s basketball coaches.

He led the Cavaliers to three regular season Atlantic Coast Conference titles, one ACC Tournament championship, eight NCAA Tournament appearances and two Final Fours.

These are all reasons why he was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.
