Celebrating the storied careers of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame’s newest inductees

Since its first induction class in 1972, the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame has carried the torch as the official state Hall of Fame for Virginia. It has served its mission of honoring athletic excellence in the Commonwealth through the induction of 354 deserving athletes, coaches, and contributors from all corners of Virginia. Each induction is special, but the 2024 version, the 51st in our history, will be the FIRST Induction Weekend hosted in the Richmond region. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the Hall is planning multiple events that will provide engagement and exposure opportunities for sports fans and our corporate partners. Our goal is to provide a weekend celebration worthy of the Hall and its inductees. Scheduled events include:

Friday, April 19, 2024; Sponsor Welcome Reception with the new class of inductees.
Saturday, April 20, 2024; Breakfast With Champions, family-oriented, meet & greet, autograph session for new inductees. Henrico Sports & Events Center, 9 a.m.
Saturday, April 20, 2024; Hall of Fame Reception & Induction Ceremony. Henrico Sports & Events Center, 5:30 p.m.

As the largest annual event, Induction Weekend offers the Hall and its partners countless opportunities for exposure through on-site engagement at weekend events, to marketing and promotional outreach in the lead-up to the weekend. With another strong class of inductees, the eyes of Virginia sports fans will be on Henrico County, April 19 & 20, 2024.

Breakfast with Champions – April 20, 9 a.m. Henrico Sports & Events Center

Wake up with the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame’s incoming inductees, at Breakfast with Champions.

Breakfast Tickets – $35/person, and includes a breakfast buffet and Q&A with the new class inductees.
Breakfast + Autograph Tickets – $50/person, includes an autograph session with the new class. Attendees are permitted to bring no more than 2 personal items for autographs. The Hall will also provide an autograph sheet featuring each inductee.

2024 Hall of Fame Reception & Induction Ceremony – April 20, 5:30 p.m., Henrico Sports & Events Center

Meet and mingle with inductees past and present, and then join the Hall of Fame as we formally welcome a new class of inductees into the Hall of Honor.

Tickets – $85/person. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and open bar included.
Induction Ticket Package – 10 tickets, $800
