CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — St. Anne’s-Belfield School hosted its first ever Saints Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday, honoring seven distinguished individuals for their significant contributions to the school’s athletic legacy.
Among the honorees was two-time Super Bowl champion Chris Long, who reflected on the meaning of the recognition.
“It means a lot, you know, you walk through here and a lot of memories flood in. Everybody in this room had a big hand in getting where I went. These folks developed us on and off the field, and I think about those values that were instilled every day,” Long said.
