Pre-K programs

Pre-K programs and rates are for students who are 3 and 4 years old. A minimum of two programs must be booked per day/location, with a maximum of 15 students in each session.

Teachers and assistants must be present and able to help during the entire program.

Programs are about 30 minutes

Movin’ Math

VA Math Foundation Block 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Your preschoolers will be exercising, stretching, dancing, jumping and skipping around with numbers. This fun program will get your preschoolers moving and grooving while they become familiar with numbers.

Room requirement:

Large, open space

Teach Me Math at the Ballgame

VA Math Foundation Block 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Preschoolers will take an imaginary trip to a Washington Nationals baseball game where they will find shapes, colors and letters — all without leaving their seats. Then students will complete an art project about their trip to the ballgame.

The Senses of the Game

VA Science Foundation Block 1, 3

Preschoolers will explore the five senses through hands-on activities that make sight, touch, taste, smell and listening fun to learn. We will finish with a game of “Simon Senses” which will get your preschoolers

Character Development and Nutrition

VA Standards for Literacy 2 | Math Foundation Block 1 | VA Standards for Health & Physical Development 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6

Preschoolers will be introduced to the “My Plate” guidelines and explore the different food groups. We will look at the different food group colors, and focus on fruits and vegetables with an activity that emphasizes the importance of eating different colored fruits and vegetables every day. Being happy and healthy is not only about eating fruits and vegetables, but also about being active. Students will get “Fit” while counting aloud.

Hall of Famer in Training

VA Standards for Health & Physical Development 1, 3

Your students are our future Hall of Famers! As Hall of Famers in training your students will discover the importance of respect, honesty, listening skills, and explore how to be a team player in and out of the classroom with cooperative games and activities having student demonstrate each of those principals.
