VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Join the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame as it celebrates the accomplishments of student-athletes from across the Commonwealth, as part of its annual Student-Athlete Achievement Awards. The awards recognize juniors and seniors from Virginia high schools that perform well academically, athletically, and make an impact in their communities. 16 finalists have been chosen from over 100-nominations, and four winners will be named Student-Athletes of the Year and receive scholarship awards from the Hall of Fame.

The virtual reception will take place Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 4 p.m., and will be broadcast via ZOOM/Facebook Live. To view the event live in the ZOOM (only hosts and finalists will be visible on screen, please register via the link below. Registration is limited to 100 attendees.

The event will also be broadcast live on the Hall of Fame’s Facebook page at 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 28. There is no limit to how many people can view the broadcast on FB Live. 

The event will be emceed by the morning and midday anchor for WAVY-TV, Katie Collett.
